About Katie

Hello! I am moving to the Phoenixville area soon and am looking for a part-time job as a tutor. I have a degree in early childhood ed with a cert in special ed, as well as past tutoring experience. During college, I worked in the writing center, helping students with essays and research papers in anything from the early planning phases to the final revisions. At the end of college I tutored a Kindergarten student in reading and math, and a couple years later I developed an online English tutoring program for a Syrian family. My main strengths lie in reading and writing, but I am also able to help with elementary math. I am friendly, hardworking and love children, but would be willing to work with students of any age!
