About Katie

Hi - my name is Katie and I'm a 58-year-old mother of 3 amazing daughters and grandmother to a 2-year-old with another on the way. I have been the caregiver for both of my in laws in their times of need, one who suffered with cancer and dementia and one who had dementia and high risk falling. I moved them into my home for several years taking care of their every need until they sadly had to move into hospice. I have always enjoyed caring for seniors. I find them so authentic, they usually have the best stories and are often so appreciative. I understand the challenges with senior care and am very patient, reassuring and organized. I am really looking for a long term job that allows me to make a connection with someone special along with their family. I am very loyal, responsible and I take pride in my work. ****I do have allergies to cats and dogs and it can be quite severe so unfortunately I can only work in a pet free home****
