About Katie

Hi - my name is Katie and I'm a 58-year-old mother of 3 amazing girls and grandmother to a 2-year-old. I have cared for both of my in laws , one who suffered with cancer and dementia and one who had dementia and high risk falling. I cared for them at my home for several years until they passed. My youngest daughter just graduated high school and is off to college and I am now an empty nester looking to make money to help with college tuition. I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, kind and protective. I like caring for seniors because they are so authentic, have the best stories and are so appreciative. I'm looking for a job that gives me a connection to someone special. I started caring for seniors when my mother in law became sick. I also worked as a CNA when I was very young in Syracuse NY In my spare time, I like to be with family. One thing you should know about me is I am very loyal. My skills include companionship, warmth and protection.
