About Katie

Hi! I'm Katie! I'm a mom and have always loved working with kids. I nannied for about 8 years, and for the last 7 years my family and I have run a youth fishing summer camp here in Jacksonville where we have around 200-250 kids come through every summer. I'm super comfortable with kids of all ages and honestly just really enjoy being around them. I'm easygoing, patient, dependable, and definitely not the type to just sit on my phone while the kids entertain themselves. I love keeping them busy, playing outside, doing activities, helping with homework, making meals, or just hanging out and making sure they're happy and safe. I love working with kids because I love seeing the world through their eyes. I think it's so fun to encourage their imagination, be part of their little adventures, and help them learn and discover new things along the way. Kids have such a natural curiosity about everything, and I love finding ways to make everyday moments fun, creative, and exciting for them.
