Former Registered Nurse, mom of five, married for 28 years--looking for a new way to fulfill my passion for being a caregiver. I worked at Parkridge Medical Center main campus and Tennova in Cleveland. I enjoy caring for seniors because they have so much life experience and depth. I always find myself with richer understanding and new outlooks after having spent time with them. Everyone should spend time with seniors. It's genuinely rewarding. I started caring for seniors when I was 21 and sat with seniors at Alexian Brothers on Signal Mountain. I have since worked as an RN and cared for my own mother through the health needs of her last years. In my spare time, I like to hike, camp, travel with family I am CPR/ AED certified

Katie has been a Godsend for our father with dementia for years! She has the medical expertise that keeps us comfortable when anything comes up we need to ask the dr about while also having a heart of gold. She truly cares for him and does what is best for him, taking him out, going for walks, planning activities in the home. She is communicative after every shift letting us know what they did and how dad’s demeanor was. She is aware of triggers that might upset him and finds ways to redirect effortlessly. She is beyond reliable. Never late, always asks well in advance when needs time off. I know she’ll continue to be a part of our family.
