About Katie

Hi there! My name is Katie, and I live in Truckee and am looking to babysit some more this winter! I've been babysitting since high school for families in my neighborhood and while working summer jobs. I spent four years working at a summer camp where I cared for kids ages 3-17, and I'm also a certified EMT and lifeguard. I also have experience with babies as young as 6 months. In high school, I taught gymnastics to children of various ages, and during college I worked as a ski instructor and coach. I currently work as a ski patroller. I'm 25 years old and studied Applied Mathematics at UCLA. I have tutored many students over the years - especially in math - and I also speak Spanish. I love to cook and bake and would be happy to do so with/for your kids. I'm active and have played just about every sport, so getting outside or helping the kids get their energy out is one of my favorite things! Let me know if you think I could be a fit for your family!
