About Katie

Hi I'm Katie! I'm a mother of four with a lifelong love for working with children. I owned and operated a licensed in-home daycare for five years, creating a structured but fun environment with daily curriculum, field trips, and summer reading programs while supervising staff and caring for multiple children. I've worked with kids since about age 12, starting with church childcare and neighborhood babysitting before becoming a nanny. I have experience with children of all ages, from newborns through teenagers, including extensive newborn and infant care. I'm a hands-on caregiver who loves engaging with kids through games, creative activities, reading, outdoor play, and outings that encourage learning and exploration. I also provided childcare for Air Force drill weekends, which required extensive background screening and training. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, structured, and fun environment where each child feels comfortable and happy.
