About Katie

Hi! I'm a full-time elementary school teacher and a mom to a 13-year-old boy. I am looking to spend some of my free time doing work I genuinely enjoy-helping others. I'm available on weekends during the school year and have more flexibility during the summer. Working with people (and animals!) is what I do best. As a teacher, I'm patient, dependable, organized, and experienced in creating safe, supportive environments. I've cared for children of many ages and am comfortable helping with routines, activities, homework, and keeping kids engaged. I'm also happy to provide senior companionship, help with errands or light household tasks, and offer pet sitting or dog walking. Families often describe me as calm, responsible, and easy to communicate with. I take pride in being someone people can trust to care for their loved ones with kindness and reliability.
