About Katie

I'm a passionate early educator with over a decade of experience nurturing and educating children. I have a broad range of experience - working full time as a nanny and mother's helper, running family's homeschool programs, and also as a preschool teacher for ages 2, 3, & 4. I have a Bachelor's degree, and am certified as an Early Childhood Educator, as well as in First Aid and CPR. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children, ranging from infants to preteens. I believe that children learn best through play, and have a conscious, gentle approach to childcare. I'm happy to help with anything related to the household - cooking, light housekeeping, travel, errands, etc. My goal is to support families and ensure their children thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. I'm a non-smoker, and have my own transportation. I currently work for a family in the afternoons M-Th but am looking for additional weekly hours in the mornings, or any time Fridays, Saturday, or Sundays.
