About Katie

There is so much I love about working with children, but one of the main things is being a steady, calm presence where they feel safe enough to be themselves. Whether that's sitting on the floor building something together, helping them work through frustration with homework, or navigating big emotions, I truly value these moments of connection. I have over six years of childcare experience in a variety of roles, including tutoring, managing after-school programs, substitute teaching, nannying, babysitting, and working with children with autism. These experiences led me to pursue a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, working toward becoming a child and adolescent therapist in outpatient settings. Because of my graduate training in mental health counseling, I bring a strong understanding of child development and emotional regulation. I have my own car and am looking for a full-time nanny role that is flexible with my night classes.
