Katie is a good friend, and though I haven't personally had her watch out daughter yet, I would 100% feel comfortable and safe doing so. Over the years, I've observed Katie's interactions with the kiddos around her and she is always the adult in the room that gives the kids her full attention. They seek her out because she's the "fun" adult in the room. Always willing to get down on their level, listen to their stories, play their games and also introduce them to new games and fun ideas. She loves the outdoors and has a playful personality...she will definitely get kids moving and active, which is a huge win in my opinion. Katie is tender hearted, safety aware, and very responsible. If I needed someone, I'd hire her in a heartbeat. You can be confident your little one would be in capable hands with her.
