Hi there! I'm Katie. I've been babysitting since I was 12 years old, and I've spent the past few years in NYC working with kids and teens in various positions. I'm also an incoming graduate student at Smith College, where I'll be training to become an adolescent therapist. For the past 2 years, I've taught social and living skills to children with disabilities, primarily those on the autism spectrum, and supported teens as a wellbeing companion on a chat-based platform for emotional support. Before that, I worked in the preschool program at UC Santa Barbara while earning my BA in Psychology and Sociology. I love playing piano, helping with homework, birdwatching, dancing, playing sports, and making art. I'm also a big advocate for time away from screens.
