About Katia

Kat is a phenomenal sitter. She has a very gentle and patient personality, and I trust her implicitly. She genuinely cares for the kids she watches, and knows how to keep them happy and active. She also has an excellent understanding of how to care for children and teens who struggle with big emotions or difficulty with transitions (ADHD, autism, sensory processing, etc) Kat has past experience as an EMT and is very calm and levelheaded. We saw her skills first hand when my daughter had a medical emergency. Kat was the calmest one in the room and knew exactly what to do. She kept my daughter calm, while giving first aid and making the 911 call. I'm not sure what we would've done without her there. Kat always keeps me updated on what she and the kids are doing, sending photos and updates throughout the day. I highly recommend Kat for any babysitting or nanny position. She is a treasure.
