On top of the regular summer babysitting jobs and occasional baby sitting of my younger relatives, I have also worked at a children's theater summer camp in my home state, ensuring the children's safety and engagement. At this camp I worked with children ranging 6-12 years of age. I assisted with first aid necessities and other health concerns. I have also worked at Gymboree Play & Music in the Upper East Side. Here, I led their preschool steps program, as well as led grown up and me classes with ages 2 months- 3 years old. I am fluent in Spanish, play guitar, and more than willing to teach children if wanted. I love working with kids and believe I hold a fun but safe and professional environment. Katia has been absolutely fantastic for our 3 kiddos (ages 4, 7, 9). She watched them full time, 5 days a week for 3 weeks over the summer, plus a few weekend babysitting gigs. She always had activities planned and engaged with the kids the whole time. She drove them to museums and parks and helped with lunches. She was punctual every time we needed her and she is very responsive in communication. We recommend her 100% for your childcare needs.
