About Kathy

Hello. My name is Kathy and I love working with children. I raised 4 boys of my own and until recently worked in a preschool teaching and caring for children ages 2-5. I was at the preschool for 14 years and thoroughly enjoyed helping the children learn academically and grow emotionally and socially. I began that job right after my youngest son went to kindergarten and I did so because I wanted the children who were just starting their school years to have someone who would care about them and make them feel safe and secure and confident to leave their parents in the morning. When my children went to preschool , there were very few teachers or staff that took the time to treat the children with love and understanding and patience. I wanted to be one of the few teachers who did have those qualities. I feel very fortunate that I am blessed with those qualities. I have always treated and cared for the children in my care as I would treat my own children.
