About Kathy

I have been working with children for decades. I have five years of teaching experience and more than 25 years of experience delivering individualized one-on-one instruction. In 2024, my husband, Larry, and I joined the Iconix network and established Cognitive Canvas Learning Clinic. Most learning problems are created when we ask our children to do something, like read, before they are developmentally ready for the task. As a result, the child develops a maladaptive strategy that might work in the short term, but one that is very inefficient. This is not traditional tutoring. We help students and adults struggling with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism/ASD, dyslexia, memory, processing speed, and more. We would love to talk to you.
