About Kathy

I enjoy working with kids because each child brings their own joy and playful curiosity to the world. I'm looking for a job that is a good match for my skills to include caring for children who want to have time for interactive playing and learning. I am comfortable working with kids with unique differences. I started working with children when I was a teenager including babysitting and tutoring a couple of younger children in reading. In my spare time, I like to go on hikes with my dog Ren, read books and cook a variety of delicious meals and snacks. My skills include a caring approach to include positive redirection to parent expectations, understanding child development and possible differences, and positive attention and feedback with children.
