About Kathy

Nurturing children has been the heartbeat of my life for more than 40 years. As a mother of six and grandmother of nine, I bring a wealth of hands-on experience, patience, and genuine love for helping children feel safe, supported, and valued. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and spent 15 years working as a school counselor, giving me extensive experience supporting children and families of all ages and backgrounds. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. Families describe me as fun, energetic, calm, creative, and dependable. Whether we're playing board games, reading stories, or enjoying outdoor play, I focus on creating an environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun. I am available for recurring care, date nights, occasional babysitting, and assisting out-of-town families visiting the Los Angeles area. I'm happy to help with meal preparation, carpooling, homework support, and swimming supervision. ***Pet friendly, but allergic to cats.
