About Kathy

I am a loving mature Christian woman with over 14 years of experience in a childcare center. I am certified in first aide and infant and child CPR. I have worked with infant 6 weeks through children in early middle school. I am currently the assistant director and the K-4 teacher at a local childcare center. I plan and develop the entire curriculum as well as all educational experiences in and out of our center. I have the South Carolina Early Childhood teaching credential as well as 142 additional hours of training in child development, curriculum, health and safety, and music and movement. I am love interacting with children to help them develop and grow. In my personal life I have been married for 27 years and we have 2 children. Our daughter is 24 and perusing her master's in counseling and our son is 18 and in high school. I have volunteered at church in the children's department for the past 17 years. I believe children should be allowed varied experiences to grow.
