I love spending time with elders because they are very knowledgable. They give very good advice and life experience to share. Expectations include pay that matches the level of care. Clear outline of expected procedure if there should be an emergency. Being paid what it is agreed upon and when agreed. I started caring for others in my early 20's my daughters Grandmother had MS. She was my first unofficial client. I learned to use a hoyer lift on my own. In 2006 I decided to go to HACC in Harrisburg, Pa to become certified as a CNA. Hobbies include: Plants Arts and Crafts Travel I go above and beyond and that's just part of who I am. I learn my clients routines, dislikes, and likes. And I follow them. I am very compassionate. I'm very empathetic. Clear compassionate communication. I speak slowly and pronunciate my words. Competent and safe hands on personal care. Educated on infection control. Observation, I noticed when something isn't right with my client.
