About Kathryn

My name is Kathryn and I graduated in December of 2024 from Appalachian State with a degree in psychology. I have taken five child development courses. I just finished work at the hospital in Boone and worked with patients of all ages and since I was clinical staff ready I have worked in many different departments and learned a wide variety of skills! This does mean that I am first aid and CPR certified. Before that I worked two summers at Grandfather Golf and Country Club with their summer camps. I also worked at a nursing home as a hospitality aide. I have nannied/babysat for over 10 years as I started when I was 13. Over the years I have worked with kids ranging in age from newborn to 12 years old. I most recently nannied for a 1-year-old! I have a new and reliable car and have had my license for over 8 years! I can work any hours!
