About Kathryn

I grew up in Mandan, ND and have always enjoyed caring for children . I graduated college with an elementary education major and early childhood minor. I have taught in elementary schools but my focus has been with young children. Through 35 years, I have taught preschool, worked with ECFE, and have been a director of child care facilities . My most recent position has been as a full-time nanny for a local family. I began the job when the children were very young, girl, (3yrs) and boy, (10months). After 7 1/2 years, the children are in school and quite independent. They are like grandchildren to me! I'm married and we have two sons and three grandchildren. I love to sing and am a member of BC Chorale. I enjoy crafts and baking. I'm also active in my church.
