About Kathryn

I'd describe my personality as inventive, determined, and curious! I like tutoring because there are few things better than helping someone else grasp a subject well. I enjoy helping others understand and sometimes come to love that which may initially be difficult or confusing for them. In my spare time, I like to read classic literature and fantasy, write poetry, cook, and spend time with my siblings and friends. My skills include helping to build a well rounded essay, tackling history, elementary math and science (especially basic chemistry, statistics, and lab reports) and more! I'm especially well versed in the classical model of education but able to take on many other styles of education and learning. I also have nearly six years of experience with drama & theater both on stage and directing elementary-high school aged skits, productions, etc. *I have years of experience teaching and tutoring but no formal certifications [There is no option to select that]
