About Kathryn

Hi! My name is Kathryn, and I'm interested in this position. I have worked with kids since I was about 12 years old, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I would love to continue working with kids, and as I have been a nanny in the past, I feel this is a great way! I began babysitting when I was 12 years old - I was SafeSitter certified, and I began with my own younger siblings, but eventually babysat neighborhood kids as well as family friends. I have spent several summers as a part-time nanny, as well as worked as a full-time nanny for one specific family, with the youngest being 7mo at the start. I coached gymnastics for 6 years, mostly ages 5-11, but anywhere between 2-15. Recently, I have been working as an au pair in Amsterdam, for kids aged 9, 7, and 4. In my free time, I love to dance at my studio downtown. I also love to read, embroider, and spend time with my friends, family, and dogs. Not currently CPR or first aid certified, but willing to do so. References available upon request.
