I'm an experienced special needs caregiver with a Master's degree and over 15 years of hands-on experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, speech and language differences, sensory needs, and behavioral challenges. I'm ABA-trained and experienced in structured behavior support, but I primarily use a warm, play-based approach that blends structure with creativity to help children feel safe, understood, and empowered. I'm currently completing a Children's Learning and Behavior Specialist Certificate to deepen my expertise in emotional regulation, executive functioning, and alternative learning strategies. Originally from Ireland, I've supported children from infancy through the teenage years, working closely with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and mental health teams to build consistent, connected care. I'm also a certified PADI Scuba Diving Instructor, Adaptive Diving Specialist, former YMCA swim teacher, and certified First Aid/CPR/AED instructor.
