Working with children and being an influence in their lives has made such a huge impact on me. For the past five years I have nannied for three different families in Manhattan and the Hamptons, traveling with them, and acting as personal assistant, housekeeper and chef while the kids were at school. I have worked with children for over 15 years: I Au paired in London and Rome; worked as a nanny for two different families in PA; was a gymnastics instructor at My Gym, a camp counselor (with lifeguard certification), a babysitter, in addition to having a lot of experience with my much younger sisters, nieces, and friends' children. I love working with children because I am enthusiastic, silly, and loving. Some of my favorite activities to do while babysitting or nannying are dancing and singing, art projects, going to the park and baking! Additionally, I was an English teacher and tutor in Rome, so I am very comfortable with helping your children with schoolwork.

Katie has been our part-time nanny for many months. There is not a thing I can say to explain to you how great she is with our kids (twin 19-month-old and a 4-year-old). She always shows up on time with a great attitude and infectious energy. She engages the kids and takes them out to activities, always going above and beyond our expectations. She is responsible and trustworthy and tons of fun. As a working mom, I always appreciate how she is thinking two steps ahead and anticipating our needs without having to be asked.
