About Kathryn

Hello, my name is Kathryn. I love teaching. I'm tutoring a child now who "hated school" and after a month (9 hrs/wk) he stated, "Math is my favorite subject!" It's great to see him so confident now. I'm very familiar with Home Schooling curriculums and am willing to teach the program of your choice. I was brought up in a home of educators. Both parents taught high school and my father taught college math. I raised two children that started school early. I taught my son to read by age 2 1/2. He read to his kindergarten class at age 3. He majored in math and my daughter, majored in accounting and finance. They both chose to put themselves through college. I've been tutoring language arts, English, geography, art, history, and math. My tutoring rate starts at $35/hr. I'm interested in learning about your children and family.
