About Kathryn

Hi, my name is Kathryn! I currently work full time as a residential counselor for children with emotional & behavioral challenges. I have been in this role for several years now & just love getting to work with the kids & make an impact on their lives. Prior to my current job, I worked for 10 years at The Little Gym, which is a gym for children ages 4 months to 12 years, offering various activities such as dance, gymnastics, karate, sports skills & birthday parties. I absolutely loved my job at the gym & found it so rewarding being able to witness all the growth that takes place in each child. I also have 15+ years of babysitting experience. I have cared for families with up to four children, ranging in age from 9 months to 14 years. I have babysat for families with all sorts of pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, etc.), & also have a dog myself, so am plenty comfortable taking care of animals.
