About Kathryn
Experience: 10 yrs
For 10+ years, I've found immense joy in nurturing children and supporting families. My 6 years as a youth dance/yoga/fitness/drama instructor have motivated me to pursue caregiving, and I'm passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives. I have a college degree and coursework in Early Child Development (ECE). I've worked as a Paraeducator in special education classrooms, and have behavioral training. I'm experienced with children ages 1-12+. My approach is patient and creative, and I strive to understand each child's unique needs. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and believe in open communication with parents. I will follow your preferred communication method and offer verbal updates at pickup. I enjoy playing board games, educational games, and engaging in yoga, dance, fitness, music, art, and drama. I am comfortable caring for up to 3 children and am also happy to help with light housekeeping. I have current First Aid Training and CPR Training.
