About Kathryn

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Kat as a nanny and childcare professional. Kat worked as a nanny to our 2 year old daughter, Nahla, from February 2021 to Feb 2022, during a time we had just relocated cities. Our daughter also went through many significant life changes during that period. Kat was a beacon of steadiness, consistency, and support. She was always reliably present and punctual, and available to talk to us about her experiences with our daughter. It was clear from the excellent and detailed feedback she provided that she put tremendous focus into Nahla’s care. Our daughter loves Kat and looks forward to the time they spend together. We have quite a spirited toddler with some special needs, and Kat expertly attuned to those needs and many times was able to show us techniques that work well for our daughter, that we hadn’t figured out ourselves! She would frequently show up with activities, books, and treats for Nahla and took on her excursions to the library, gymnastics, and playgrounds. This was especially important for us as our daughter didn’t have many chances to socialize with other kids, and Kat made a point of prioritizing that during her time with us. Kat actively participated in helping our daughter to blossom and I strongly feel that her energy is woven into the delightful person Nahla is today. She collaborated with us as a teammate during the times we needed special assistance, like during potty training and other behavioral plans we chose to adhere to. Kat has a great way of being completely respectful to parents’ wishes while also sharing her own ideas, which were often incorporated by us because they were helpful. She was also personally very supportive to me and always made me feel like a great mom, which in turn helped me to be a better parent.
