About Kathryn

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential has been my professional focus for the past 20 years. As a highly qualified AZ state certified teacher experienced in gifted education, foundational reading skills, Individualized Education Programs (IEP), and 504 plans, I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of every elementary student. I believe in fostering a love for learning by breaking complex concepts into manageable steps and celebrating every "aha!" moment. Whether we are exploring math, science, or refining study skills, I use visual aids and interactive discussions to build both confidence and critical thinking. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with families to ensure we are working as a collaborative team. My goal is to provide the personalized support your child needs to thrive in their academic journey. I truly look forward to helping your student grow, succeed, and discover the joy of mastering new skills.
