I have worked with children in sports, tutoring, academia, and simple child care, and I'm willing to do additional other tasks if requested. I completed my college degree with a major in Human Development and Family Studies with a double concentration in Prevention and Intervention studies as well as Early Childhood Professions in 2020, and my Masters degree in Social Work in University of North Carolina. With this educational background, I am well versed on childcare and how to make sure that each child is receiving what they need to succeed, as well as have fun.

My 4 year old love Katie like she’s her own big sister!!! I found Katie through a mutual friend, she had excellent references, an impressive history of working in childcare for public schools/afterschool programs, and I was very impressed that she was pursuing a masters in social work! She is very detail oriented, asked great questions, both about my preferred parenting style, and about my daughter. She has truly been such a reliable sitter for us for a year and a half now. My daughter T. is slow to warm up to people, and is quite shy. Within one stay I came home to her performing her Moana song and dance routine as if she’d known Katie her whole life. We are so sad to see that she’s moving, but I cannot recommend her enough.
