About Kathryn

Hi! I'm Katie, a dependable caregiver with over 10 years of babysitting experience and 3+ years of teaching experience in early childhood education. I'm pursuing a graduate degree at Teachers College, Columbia University, working toward dual certification in Early Childhood and Special Education. I've worked with children from infancy through age 12, including those with autism, ADHD, and speech delays. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and happy to help with tutoring, pick-ups, drop-offs, and light housework. I also have a year of experience providing care for my mother, who had ALS, so I'm comfortable with adult caregiving and understand the importance of compassion and dignity. In addition, I love animals and am happy to care for pets. I aim to create warm, responsive environments where kids can thrive.
