I have over 16 years of nanny experience, having worked and become a part of several wonderful families as a result. My first nanny position was with 7-month-old twin girls, and ended when the girls were almost 6 years old and entering kindergarten. What continued, however, was my close bond and relationship with them and their family. The girls are now 21 years old, and I am still a part of their lives, though my role as their nanny came to an end. That is what I am most passionate about in working with children- becoming a close, regular part of a child's life, helping guide them to grow and flourish, and being able to bring daily happiness to their lives. Since then, I have worked closely with a few other amazing families and I am fortunate enough to be in close contact with all of them. I currently work full time for local county government, but I very much miss my time with children, so I am looking for on-call, date night, or part-time with flexible hours.

We tried to interview Kathleen after messaging. We gave two choices on times on a specific date and she picked one that was suitable for her. We called and left a message because she didn't pick up. She never called back. She also checked her messages on care.com because we have the date and time verified and stamped. Families count on someone to be responsible, reliable, and punctual. She was neither of those things. We would have give 1 star because we are in need of a nanny, but because we were still in interview phase we gave 3 stars.
