About Kathleen

Hello! My name is Kathey, and I recently retired after 18 years as an Instructional Assistant with the Chula Vista Elementary School District. Caring for children has always been my passion, and I'd love to help your family by providing safe, dependable, and loving childcare. Throughout my career, I worked with children from preschool through sixth grade, including students with special needs. I have experience helping with homework, reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, bedtime routines, meal preparation, and creating a fun, positive environment where children feel safe and supported. Parents describe me as patient, trustworthy, kind, and dependable. As a mother and longtime educator, I understand how important it is to know your children are in caring, capable hands. I have reliable transportation. I look forward to meeting your family and caring for your little ones as if they were my own!
