About Kathleen

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is my passion. With 10 years of experience and a graduate degree, I am a Certified teacher dedicated to fostering a love for learning rather than mere memorization. I build confidence by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting lessons to your child's personal interests. I prioritize open communication with families to ensure my teaching strategies--ranging from hands-on activities to visual aids--perfectly match your student's unique needs. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I strive to create a supportive environment where critical thinking thrives. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill. I look forward to building a collaborative partnership that makes learning an enjoyable journey for your child.
