Maryland Teacher with Advanced Certification. Highly Qualified Special Education teacher, which means I am certified to teach regular and special education. I hold a Masters degree in Special Education, and have worked with any and all disabilities. I work best with students who are bright but need support due to their learning differences. If your child fits that description, you know right away what I mean. If your child fits that description, please do not look anywhere else for a tutor. I know that child. I was that child. I know how to reach that child, especially when there has been failure in other settings or methods. I work very well with teens, but enjoy working with elementary kids as well. I do not want to nor am I certified to teach kindergarten, unless you are looking for a teaching experience that focuses on reading and literacy skills. Early childhood math is something I enjoy teaching as well.
