About Kathleen

I started taking care of people when I was 13 volunteering as a candy striper at a local hospital in Boston. It was from this volunteer job I knew I wanted to help people, and that's exactly what I did during school breaks. In the past 15+ years I have worked in large nursing facilities responsible for 40 residents, and smaller facilities caring for 6 residents on 24 hr shifts. I have experience caring for clients with various impairments, including; Alzheimer's, Dementia(all stages), Parkinson's Disease with Lewy Bodies( my father had), Hospice clients, and colostomy care. I have also worked as a private caregiver in clients homes. Some of the services I provide include, but are not limited to; All Basic Care Needs, Medication Administration or Reminders, Meal Prep, Light Housekeeping, Dr's Appts, Mental and Physical Stimulation, Walks, Social Interaction, and Running Errands As Needed. I take pride in the care I provide to my clients and do my best to protect them at all times.
