I have been working with children & families for over 30 years. Occupations include Site Director, Lead Teacher, Substitute Teacher, Mentor, Private Nanny & Mom. For the past 9 years I have been a Private Nanny for families in Montana & California. Currently, I have moved to Vero Beach, Florida where I am looking for Part-Time Nanny services. One of my highest accomplishments was achieving National Program Accreditation with a Before-School/After-School Program in Santa Cruz, CA. I have taught at a variety of preschool programs including: Head Start, Montessori & Waldorf philosophy based.

Kathy was absolutely wonderful with our 2-year-old! She arrived with thoughtful personal gifts and fun crafts for them to do together. Our little boy is very energetic, and she kept him calm, engaged, and genuinely excited with the activities, books and toys she brought. Ms. Kathy has been a blessing to our family. She has been our nanny for the past 2 years. She is so passionate about her job and never misses a day of work. My two kids light up when they see her daily. She goes the extra mile with fun crafts, bringing baskets of toys and books everyday. She has been with my littlest since she was 6 weeks old. We hired Kathy on our recent vacation to Indian Wells and she watched our 2.5 year old son and our friend's son (same age). My only regret is that I should have hired her for more evenings. I have worked with many sitters and Kathy exceeded my expectation in every category. She communicates well, is punctual, and is prepared. Kathy watched our boys in the hotel room, brought over 5-6 activity stations and crafts, and kept our rambunctious boys' attention (with no TV or screen time!). A memorable anecdote, Kathy prepared personalized sticker booklets and wooden painting projects that the boys got to bring home from vacation. You can tell Kathy takes great pride in her job. I highly recommend without hesitation.

Kathy was fantastic. We hired Kathy to watch our 18 month old while we were visiting for a wedding. She watched our daughter Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Kathy was very responsive as we worked to nail down logistics. She came over early to meet our daughter and immediately connected with her.  She even brought toys and activates which is perfect for out of town guests. Kathy has a true love for children and was incredibly engaging. We would highly recommend Kathy to others and would use her again if we are back in the area.

Kathy is so wonderful with our kids (3 yrs and 5 yrs old)! She is creative, engaging, attentive and so easy to have in our home. She always brings a smile and always goes above and beyond what is asked. We have been using her for date nights and babysitting for over a year and every time she is with our kids they are happy to see her and makes it very easy for us to have some time away.

Kathy was wonderful for our 1x booking while visiting Palm Springs. I really appreciated her Covid practices as well as her desire to jump in and develop a connection with our son prior to putting him to bed.  As a first time mom the text message update were very much appreciated and eased any concerns. Definitely sad Kathy doesn't live in Phoenix or we would be ecstatic to use her more often.

We are very lucky to have found Kathy! She is great with both my girls (3 months & 3 years) and is a great help! She is very creative and personable!

We so enjoyed having Kathy in our home working with our daughter! She started when our daughter C was 7 months and at the height of her separation anxiety. I was amazed how quickly C warmed up to Kathy. She knew just how to make her (and me!) comfortable. Over several weeks, I saw Kathy engage C in new, fun, and creative ways. Her background and education in child development are most apparent in the work she does.

Kathy was our son's Montessori school teacher and then our nanny for a summer for both kids (started at 4 & 6, they are now 8 & 10). She has also done overnights for us when we had out of town events. Kathy is the consummate professional, while relating well to the children in the most development appropriate ways. As a teacher, she really knew how to relate to each individual child - while also providing structure and great feedback both to the child and the parents. She has been a fantastic support for our family in her respective roles as Montessori teacher and then again as a nanny. While nannying, Kathy created a schedule that provided the children with consistent structure, usually included an outside activity in the morning, a project, craft or learning opportunity and then some free time. She also helped our household  by helping keep kids rooms and common areas clean and organized. Above all, kids love her - they light up when they see her in town, school or at our house.
