About Kathleen

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience supporting elementary students in Math and English, I believe every child possesses unique talents that flourish with personalized guidance. I assess each student's individual learning style by actively listening and observing how they interact with new material. When a concept feels challenging, I maintain motivation by celebrating small successes and providing consistent positive reinforcement. I prioritize open communication with both students and parents to foster a collaborative, trusting environment. My greatest joy is witnessing that transformative "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am happy to meet you at your home, a local library, a coffee shop, or online to help your student succeed. I look forward to partnering with your family to help your child thrive.
