Learning should be an exciting journey of discovery! With decades of experience, I tutor math to middle school, high school, adult, and college students online. I hold a graduate degree from MIT and an undergraduate degree from Columbia. I focus on building confidence and a love for learning, not just memorization. I always start by asking a student to explain their understanding, then we work together to make the learning meaningful. We can't get to where we're going without starting where we are. I celebrate small successes and provide consistent positive reinforcement, communicating with parents about areas of growth. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring is seeing a student's confidence soar as they master new skills. I am CPR trained and love helping students achieve their academic goals.
