About Kathleen

For the last 27 years I have dedicated my life to teaching young minds. I have taught Preschool, Kindergarten and have been a Preschool Director. I am a mother of two adult daughters, one of whom I taught in my class years ago! I have 3 amazing grandchildren with another on the way. They are my pride and joys! I am a strong, loving person with years of experience. I am flexible, reliable and dedicated. I have my own vehicle and am willing to do some light errands of picking up children if necessary. I hope to be able to bring to families not only what I have learned over the years but also a sense of comfort. Entrusting your most precious gift in my care is something I take seriously. I am also trained in CPR/Infant CPR and First Aid. I have experience as a private tutor (for over 5 years) helping to prepare children from Kindergarten to Second grade with positive encouragement and time management skills.

Kathleen is our nanny and we absolutely Love her. She has been caring for our son since he was six months old. She has a wealth of experience when it comes to caring for infants and children through her years of work in childcare and it is absolutely evident in the level of care and attention to detail that she gives to our son. She and our son have absolutely bonded, I know he looks forward to seeing her every day and when I leave home for work I am assured that he is in great hands. She also sometimes cares our 2-year-old when he is home from preschool and he loves her too. She is kind, loving, and compassionate. She has a huge heart and has become like a member of our family. She is punctual, professional and reliable. She has provided us with lots of insight about our little one's milestones and important components of his growth and development. Transitions are never easy and soon our son will be moving on to preschool and my mother will be moving closer to help with the kids which is why she is looking for a new family, however we hope that Kathleen will always be in our lives!
