Hi! I recently relocated to this beautiful city a few years ago to start a nonprofit with my sister focused on community-based supportive services and mental health and well being. I was born and raised in Indiana. I graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors degree in Recreational Therapy, I have always worked in the human services field but in many different roles. I started my career in the inpatient psychiatric setting and then moved to school-based services as a skills development specialist, working one-on-one and in the classroom with elementary students with behavioral and/or mental health needs. demonstrated coping skills, emotional regulation, and modeled positive behaviors. In my most recent position as a resource coordinator, I provided advocacy, case management, and crisis intervention to individuals at risk of homelessness at a supportive housing site.
