About Kathleen

I'd describe my personality as warm, outgoing, and fun. I started working with kids on my 12th birthday when I took a babysitting course. I proceeded to dual major in elementary education/special education in college and teach for six years before becoming a mom. I continued to work in the education field through behavioral specialist work and Montessori teaching positions, which allowed me to work part time and be home with my daughter part time. In my spare time, I like to keep active and outdoors with my family through biking, hiking, and swimming. I also really love cooking and can frequently be found tinkering in the kitchen over a healthy new recipe or homemade bread. I consider myself to be a voracious reader and love to wind down with a good book in the evenings.
