About Kathleen

My name is Katie. My one passion in life is to truly care for children. I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old, and it is such a joy for me that I don't consider it a job. I am 30 and have a career in the financial industry, but am currently taking time off from that to finish my bachelor's degree in leadership. I am comfortable with newborns, toddlers and early school age children the most, but I am willing to watch elementary age children and preteens/teens as well. I'm in the process of being re-certified for my CPR and First Aid training, but I am up to date in this area and I know what to do in an emergency situation. I feel I am kind and compassionate and I am able to mix responsibility with a dash of fun and silliness, which I find kids to both enjoy and respect. References are available upon request.
