I am currently a grad student at Virginia Tech and am studying Human Nutrition Food and Exercise. I worked as a lifeguard before and am CPR certified. I have been nannying now for 7 years and have driven children to and from school, helped with school work, prepared dinner and meals, and kept children entertained while their parents were away. I was an athlete my whole life and played varsity lacrosse in high school and also swam. Here at Virginia Tech I have come to love the outdoors, hiking being a personal favorite. I also worked as a sports and games coach at multiple elementary schools. I worked with children on a variety of sports related games after school.

Katie is wonderful! Don't hire her because I want her all to myself! She is often early, always dependable and my daughter LOVES her!!! She is a real asset to us. She cares for my 2 year old daughter with love and thoughtfulness. L never cries when I leave and is so happy when Katie comes to "play with her " during the day. We got a new puppy and Katie takes care of the animals if needed. She just rolls with the punches and always does her best. She has flexibility due to Zoom classes during the pandemic. She is a great sitter, highly recommended!
