About Kathie

I was bonding with cats before I was born, and haven't spent much time without at least one kitty sharing my home over the years since. I also yearned throughout my childhood for a dog of my own but my mother was not accommodating, so nearby family with dogs could always rely on me for pup care to assuage that longing. I spent several years in a million dollar house providing all care to two irascible dogs (60+ lb English bully and a one-eyed pug), whom I loved like my own and continued to care for on a part time basis until they both passed over the rainbow bridge. When the EB was suffering from severe arthritis, he boarded with me - mama had moved to a third floor walk up condo, and I had a ground floor apartment with yard access. I could never imagine abandoning any animal I've cared for.
