Have pet sit for a handful of dogs and have always had a love for animals (wanted to be a vet but that didn't happen ha) Currently, I have one tortoise. Our cat passed away recently and I would love to get a dog soon. That said, I grew up with dogs, cats, fish, and other animals. The animals were always treated as part of the family! To me, they should be taken care of as if they were one of the kids in the home - a warm meal and soft bed like the rest of us.
