About Katherine

Hi! I'm a 19-year-old student at Penn State University with seven years of childcare experience. I've worked with children of all ages in home and group settings and bring a calm, dependable approach to every family. I was a lifeguard for three years, strengthening my safety awareness and ability to respond quickly in emergencies. I also worked in a bakery, developing patience, organization, and a positive attitude. I enjoy helping with homework, planning activities, reading together, and creating a supportive space where kids feel comfortable and engaged. I'm patient, responsible, and energetic, and I started babysitting in seventh grade. In my spare time, I stay active, bake, spend time with friends and family, and enjoy being outdoors. Families should know I take safety, trust, and reliability seriously. My top skills are safety awareness, patience, communication, and creating a positive, fun environment.
