About Katherine

I am a retired nurse and have had the pleasure of both providing care to infants and teaching pediatric nursing care. My full time career was teaching while I continued to work as a pool nurse. I am a single mom of twins which gave me a different perspective to understand child development across all ages, from infants to teenagers. My kids are college bound. I am patient, creative, and approachable, and I enjoy engaging children with board games, puzzles, and educational activities. I am comfortable caring for up to four children. I prioritize open communication and will always follow your preferred method for updates and addressing concerns. I am comfortable reinforcing household rules. I am certified in First Aid and CPR Training. I have a car and fine with pets. I am happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, crafts, and swimming supervision. I speak both English and Spanish. I'm excited about the possibility of bringing my experience and passion to your family!
