About Katherine

My name is Katherine, but I go by Katiee. I'm 32 years old and have spent the past 11 years working in corrections, including 5 years at the federal level. I'm also a proud mother of a 9-year-old, and I have a 3-year-old who is medically complex, which has given me a deep sense of resilience and compassion. I've been caring for children since I was 14, but I paused that to pursue a career in corrections at 19. Along with my professional experience, I have had a top-secret clearance. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and have applied this training during my time in corrections. Currently, I work part-time in private security for concerts and private events. In high school, I worked at an assisted living center where I led activities for the elderly, which I absolutely loved. I also grew up on a 100-acre farm with a variety of animals. Although we don't have pets at the moment due to frequent relocations with my spouse, who is active duty Army.
